The OD Out Loud Revival
Stay tuned! Design & speaker information will be shared on this page as it emerges. Tickets go on sale January 15, 2026.
Our first project and the launch pad for the collective is a gathering of OD and OD adjacent professionals and students in Kansas City in October of 2026. We are calling this a REVIVAL rather than a 'conference' for a variety of reasons.
We are designing something very different - specifically a gathering centered on impact and outcomes rather than on dialogue or 'conferring', with ample time for relationship building.
We are called to share a sense of movement and embodiment that includes art and music as well as OD in how we work together. We know our work is stronger when it's connected to life.
We want to honor the strong history of our field, to be clear that we are not leaving it behind but rather using it to recreate and revive our field from the values and skills we already share.
We want to create a sense of excitement, of wonder and the feeling a community gets when a traveling show arrives. We are putting up a BIG tent!

Location Details
Located in the geographic heart of America, Overland Park offers exceptional accessibility for participants traveling from all regions. The modern convention center provides flexible meeting spaces ideal for T-Group configurations and intensive workshops, while Kansas City's rich history of social justice movements and community organizing creates meaningful context for OD advocacy work.
The central location reduces travel barriers for practitioners from across the country, and the area's affordable accommodations and excellent restaurant scene support extended networking and relationship building essential for movement creation. The nearby Kansas University (in Overland) has a Master of Science in Human and Organization Performance Effectiveness (HOPE).
Kansas City also has an active regional ODN, and there are nearby regional groups in Oklahoma, Colorado, and Houston.
